Minstrel Tackhead Banjo

Handmade with care in a small shop.  Made in batches of ten at a time, I aim to keep this banjo in stock at all times. This old-time style banjo is lightweight and fun to play. Made from solid hard maple. Some spalting and knots may be present, but this is only added character in my view. Each banjo is a little bit different but they all follow the same appearance as the banjo in the photos. Exact photos of banjo available upon request. More info coming soon.

I’ve decided to sell these banjos at a low price as a token of my appreciation to my customers and fellow banjo enthusiasts. I have always aimed to make old-time banjos affordable for the average person like myself.
This banjo ships fully set-up and ready to play. Just open the box and tune it up.
