Modern Minstrel Banjo Kit

A modern take on the minstrel banjo with a simple neck and a geometric scroll peghead. This is a no frills basic tackhead kit with a price tag for today’s economy. I’m able to produce these at a low cost by keeping it simple and not offering any extra options like frets. Very similar in construction to the other tackheads available on the site; I just wanted to offer a low priced alternative without cutting corners on quality or craftsmanship. This banjo utilizes a 10” rim while the other kits are equipped with a 12” rim. In my opinion the smaller rim produces a slightly brighter tone. Drumhead skin coloration will range and is sent at random depending on stock. Neck and dowel will vary in coloration from clear maple to spalted maple. (Spalt is naturally occurring dark ink-like lines and marbled color streaks in the maple wood).
