I’m looking at buying my first fretless banjo and I’m wondering if the bumps on the neck above the fifth fret correspond to, say, the 7th and 9th frets. Thinking it might help me locate further up the fretboard? Can anyone give me any insight into where the scroll shapes lie?

The minstrel neck has shapes called “double ogees”
The swoops and points correspond to the 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th fret positions
