Thanks for the quick response – that’s what I thought about the tack holes – I will probably make a nailing jig for that so I don’t overstress the rim or my knee – I’ll send pics when done with the jig.
I am in no rush for the assembly, so I will wait for the video. Last question: is there any caveat about staining the rim? leaning toward black walnut for the rim.
