Are any of my customers receiving tracking number notifications from PayPal?
I have a customer that had an email from PayPal with a fictitious tracking number supposedly for their order. I’m trying to figure out if it was just a one-off phishing type scam or if PayPal is actually generating “tracking numbers” and notifying my customers.
I do not have an automated system to send tracking numbers. The only way to see a tracking number is to look at the paper receipt I get from the post office. The only way my customers will have a tracking number is when I personally email them.
It would help me a lot if any customer could let me know and forward any tracking number email to me at carverbanjos@gmail.com
